Yea Qatar has no room to talk about humanity. They need to just shut up color. After the shit I've seen with my own eyes in their country, fuck them. They only care because it affects their religious brethren.
The ones run by Christian churches? Horrible. Every Canadian agrees, and the Canadian Government has been doing everything they can to make up for it.
There's no denying that Canada, like pretty much every nation ever, has some bad history.
But unlike a country like Qatar, who makes human rights violations part of their law, Canada is making efforts to not only bring those atrocities to light, but to support the victims and people affected.

Canadian law enforcement literally commits crimes against indigenous people, and wiped a lot of their existence.
Is this being done because a law says they should, like Qatar's anti-LGBT, any-woman, anti-freedom of expression laws?
Or are these the actions of bad cops?
Canadians don't actually want our police officers to hurt people, which is why we protest when anything like that happens. A protest in Qatar would get you jailed or worse, even if it's only on social media.

Hey, nobody said that Canada is perfect. But at least we don't murder migrant workers, we give women rights, and don't jail people for being gay.
Canada also doesn't make abuse and inhumane treatment of people part of the law, so if these things happen, we seek change to remedy it. 🤭

Canada still occupies unceded native land, regularly does raids on First Nations sovereign territory, and has been running concentration camps for kids in form of residential schools into late 80s. Canada is one of the most deplorable apartheid regimes in the world today.
