How dare you.
If it's an actual nightcore remix and not just speeding up the song and calling it a nightcore remix, I would definitely agree with this.
For me, there's a distinct difference between "grab a random song and speed it up", and using trance/clubland/hands up genres to make it sound similar to happy hardcore music. Most of the old better known songs were of those genres, and those define the nightcore genre more for me than anything else.
I understand. my 2022 or so spotify wrapped was full of nightcore, rhythm game, and god knows what other genres. I just think its funny to laugh about occasionally when the brainrots gotten too ingrained

Nightcore was my guilty pleasure in 2018. I'd gave to get really drunk to enjoy it though.
