Figured I would dust off one of my Vacumatic pens today so I could share a pic. It's got a gold EF nib and is currently inked with Quink Black. The color is "Golden Pearl," my favorite of the stacked celluloid color options. It's date code is "7" which could mean '37 or '47.

These pens are mesmerizing in person when you rotate them in nice lighting.

Stunning. This pen is one of the very few pens I would buy for the looks.

Thanks. I knew I had to get one eventually after I saw one in person.

PS: according to Richard's Pens

Mine seems to be a mutt. The clip style without the star or blue diamond is a 1937 design while the plunger is 1942+ plastic vs aluminum. The non-jeweled blind cap is 1942+.

Heresy! The Azure Blue is the one true Vac grail color.

Though seriously, the Golden Pearl is beautiful.

I guess I'm a heretic. >:) Azure Blue is beautiful though! Coincidentally, my other Vac is that color! I will post a pic of that one eventually. I really like the emerald as well.
