What are games that are now really cheap but for some reason you just couldn't be bothered buying due to lack of interest, but would like to try if they are free? Or, you've been looking forward to purchasing but because you have a huge backlog, you keep postponing buying them?

I'll start with:

  • The Surge
  • Spellforce 3
  • Hellblade
  • Valkyria Chronicles
  • Iron Harvest
  • Street Fighter IV

Original Title: According to Remedy, "Epic Games was nothing but supportive. Epic's production team especially KILLED it on Alan Wake 2. They really care. Never have I read so much good feedback from milestones and have producers play so much of the game constantly."

So Kyle Billings recently stated at Unreal Fest 2023 that the Free Games Program will continue "through 2023 and beyond", most likely confirming free games through 2024 as well.

I would like to hear your thoughts on this: would you like them to keep the program going just as it was during this year? Would you like them to make some changes about anything in specific?

Personally, I have definitely noticed a decrease in the quality of the games given this year due to a reduced budget for this matter. Strategy, simulator and smartphone games were given away A LOT this year, so I assume 2024 will be pretty much the same, since it seems those are cheaper to give away rather than other games from more popular genres.

I'm still grateful to have this going for another year, but I certainly have my expectations a lot more controlled now.

Please add gifting ASAP.

If you want to exclude free games, go for it. People can grab their own free stuff.

If you want to limit it to being able to gift items to people in your friends list, go for it. Why would anyone gift paid items to total randoms??

The Wishlist feature is totally pointless without it. I can't buy games for my friends for their birthdays or if they can't afford it or are on the fence about a game.

This has been requested for 4 years and promised for at least 3... Where is it? Why is it not a feature yet?
