Probably the worst movie you will see this year

I learned about this from the spaghetti western wikipedia. According to that article, Zapata westerns are:

often interpreted as a leftist critique of the typical Hollywood handling of the Mexican Revolution, and of imperialism in general.

Which, having an interest in that period of history, was quite an intriguing concept.

Overall I enjoyed the film, despite sometimes having some poor dubbing here and there. It's low budget, B-movie action hero stuff done fairly well, with some standout scenes.

This director and character (the mercenary) appears to have been the inspiration for Quentin Tarantino's Bounty hunter in Django Unchained, which is another great movie that I think was posted here a while back!

I've never actually seen this trilogy, but after seeing a filmmaker analysis of the last movie in the trilogy, I became intrigued, and found the first film on youtube!

Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans (also known as Sunrise) is a 1927 American synchronized sound romantic drama directed by German director F. W. Murnau (in his American film debut) and starring George O'Brien, Janet Gaynor, and Margaret Livingston.

While the film has no audible dialog, it was released with a synchronized musical score with sound effects using the Movietone sound-on-film process. The story was adapted by Carl Mayer from the short story "The Excursion to Tilsit", from the 1917 collection with the same title by Hermann Sudermann.

Graffiti Art is scene that i have followed for many years and although i have never been a participant in the art form myself, its one i hold very close to my heart and can hopefully say with this documentary i have cemented my own little piece of Sheffield graffiti history. The filmmakers involved do not condone or encourage stealing, drug use, defacing, destroying or vandalizing public or private property.

Uptown Saturday Night is a 1974 American action comedy and crime comedy film, written by Richard Wesley and directed by and starring Sidney Poitier, with Bill Cosby and Harry Belafonte co-starring. Cosby and Poitier teamed up again for Let's Do It Again (1975) and A Piece of the Action (1977). Although Cosby's and Poitier's characters have different names in each film, the three films are considered a trilogy. Uptown Saturday Night premiered on June 15, 1974, at the Criterion Theatre in New York and opened to positive reviews.

Playtime (stylized as PlayTime and also written as Play Time) is a 1967 comedy film directed by Jacques Tati. In the film, Tati again plays Monsieur Hulot, the popular character who had central roles in his earlier films Les Vacances de Monsieur Hulot (1953) and Mon Oncle (1958). However, Tati grew ambivalent towards playing Hulot as a recurring central role during production; he appears intermittently in Playtime, alternating between central and supporting roles.
