We have previously highlighted the importance of not losing your account number, encouraging it to be written down in a password manager or similar safe location.

For the sake of convenience account numbers have been visible when users logged into our website. This had led to there being potential concerns where a malicious observer could:

  • Use up all of a user's connections
  • Delete a user's devices

From the 3rd June 2024 you will no longer be able to see your account number after logging into our website.

Do you guys think floorp is safe to use? They forked the original firefox. I'm newbie to lemmy, so tell me if this is the wrong sub to post.

Fastest servers? (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

I recently learned some of the NYC Wireguard servers are 1gbps, tested it out and turned out to be true. Any other tricks like this to know/locations that are faster than others?

Weird issue I've run into recently. Most things work fine, but occasionally from the switch from cellular to Wi-Fi back and forth, the mullvad app in the work profile gets stuck. And won't reconnect until I open it and hit the reconnect button manually. And has this fun error screen, "no servers match settings".

I think the app gets confused, when there's really bad internet, like being in an elevator or switching from Wi-Fi to cellular, can't get the server list, and just stops.

I've only noticed this on the work profile, not the main profile, in graphene OS latest version

Reason for creation (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

I needed Mullvad support but no sub existed...

Mullvad VPN + Browser @ lemmy.dbzer0.com

An unofficial sub/community everything about Mullvad.

PS: Did you know the word "sub" is a perfectly reasonable name to refer to a community, it has no inherent connection to Reddit, since sub simply means below/under/secundary/inferior, which is pretty reasonable to interpret as "part of [instance]" thus community, hence sub. Thanks for my reading my rant.
