I listen to YouTube pretty much all day at school or at work through revanced on my phone. Eventually my playlist which I make most nights before bed ends and YouTube just starts playing whatever video it wants to.

The problem is that it almost always plays one of a handful of videos which I've already watched hundreds of times. It just plays that handful of videos over and over again even if I've said "don't recommend channel" and "not interested". It doesn't seem to matter if I've seen the whole video or not. Sometimes it starts from the beginning, sometimes it picks up from where I stopped the video at to pick something else. Sometimes it only plays the last few seconds before moving onto another video I've seen 29 times. It's very annoying.

So yeah. Is there a way to stop the autoplayer from playing already watched videos? I love dykgaming but I can only watch 2 hours of unreleased PS2 games facts so many times before I snap my crank.

Anyone else has that problem? I am getting email notification just as they should be, the app itself is correct too, but sepxifically android notifications are coming way later. Probably something with MicroG but I can't understand what to change. I have timezone and time itself set correctly on my 0hone.

I've been having an issue where when I click on a video, it starts playing at 250p every time for a few seconds before changing automatically to 1080p. I am on wifi so I should have max quality every time. Is there a way to fix it?

I have my default speed set to 3x because I'm a bit of a nut, but as you can imagine there are videos I'd like to watch a little slower.

Just like with YT app and Vanced, in ReVanced there's the option to adjust playback speed while playing a video in the video's own settings (as opposed to going into ReVanced's global settings and changing the default speed). However, when I try to do that the speed doesn't actually change to what I selected and instead just stays at 3x.

Does this require an additional patch, is there some option or setting I've not enabled, or is this a bug?

Just a shot in the dark, but can there be a feature added (or is it already there and im too dumb to find it, please let me know), to lock the playback speed of videos from a specific channel.

So i was watching a MoistCritikal video and i always watch it in 2x or 3x because he talks so fucking slow its unbearable for me to listen to him at the normal speed. But when i switch to another video, the playback speed is the one i had set previously. So, i was just wondering if its possible to lock the playback speed of videos from certain channels

So my device was heating when i was on revanced youtube and someone suggested turning the notifications off from settings which didnt help How ever i do reccomend turning off notifications

I found that when i TURNED OFF Ambient Mode my device stopped heating - its been 4 hours now and the device didnt heat I hope it helps

I've been following the guide from here:

And I'm stuck in the step where I need to patch the YouTube APK. The Revanced Manager app can't find the apk I downloaded (version 18.32.39 - from the link in the guide), even after I moved it to its own folder. I've also tried renaming the apk and redownloading it. Nothing works, it just can't find it. My file manager finds it without issue.

Anyone know what can be the issue? I'm using the latest revanced manager app, 1.9.5.

So I got a new phone, the 7a after using the 5a for years, and getting youtube up and running was a piece of cake. I had recently got Sync working on my old phone as well so figured it would be similarly easy to get it working on this new phone.

Patching Sync went smoothly and I've got the client ID txt file in my documents and everything but when I open Sync it hits me with a 401 error. I figured this was because I'm not logged into my account and using the oauth/client ID/app hack described in this thread.

But when I try and login it hits me with this error.
