Hi,

Revanced Builder used to be a great web builder for ReVanced but now it's dead. I want to move my keystore to the official builder (or any other) so I don't have to uninstall my apps, but whenever I import revanced.keystore from Revanced Builder to the official Revanced app on Android, any patch will fail.

When I import the keystore I am prompted for a password, but I'm not sure if it's right since I never configured it, so I left it as default.

Can you suggest anything?

Basically what the title says I've been dealing with this recent issue with YT revanced opening up to shorts even when it's patched in and disabled through revanced settings. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling everything it still does it about 50-75% of the time I open the app.

The current revanced manager version installed is 1.9.5 and the YouTube apk version is 18.32.39 and made sure the patch to block shorts are selected and installed. Yet even though I've done all that and tripled made sure the appropriate settings are enabled through the revanced menu shorts still pops up when opening the app.

Every other patch and settings I've installed and enabled are working fine it's just that one specific issues that I'm having. It's pretty annoying and I am wondering if anyone else on here has been dealing with this too and if you've found a solution to fix this problem. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Should clarify it opens straight to shorts playing.

Edit 2: Clearing the yt app's cache via systems settings then clearing the phone's cache via recovery mode resolved the issue for me.

Ive been using the rooted version w/o micro g for a long time, no issues. I just want to know if the rooted version really gives better battery since theres no micro g in the background since i was planning to go rootless w original oxygen os instead of my custom rom.

Hi,

I've been looking at the docs here but still don't even know how to view the available patches for a specific app. I mean, on the manager, you pick an app, press on Patches and you'll get a list of the available patches for that app so, is there a guide for dummies on how you can list all the patches, pick the ones you want and patch?

I'm looking into understanding maybe not all parameters but at least the relevant parameters to view patches, select and patch.

YouTube Vanced finally stopped working for me, so I'm using the Revanced patched YouTube app now. Bluetooth controls won't work with it. I've never used the official app before, so idk if this is an issue with YouTube, or with Revanced.

I have about 10 other video apps and the Bluetooth controls on my watch and earbuds work fine with them, but they won't work at all with YouTube.

I've looked through the settings and can't find anything about it. Is it possible to use Bluetooth controls with the patched YouTube app?

I never had issiue with revanced but lately i reinatalled revanced from the links here with the patch and since i started using it my device is heating up to 41°c Any advice ? My device is Galaxy S22 + My device usually dont heat up , only since i installed revanced

Since YT version bump to 18.32.39 there was a change that Custom branding and Change package name are excluded by default.

I cannot wrap my head around how to use -i / --include argument.

On example of excluding, -e enable-debugging excludes "Enable debugging" patch, but official patch name is exactly that, not "enable-debugging". Second one is an old name (and it seems that it's used in code), and nowehere I can find mention how exactly internal patch names are spelled. So, while using -i argument I don't know what to type exactly after that.

Even worse is --include=. How in the hell this list needs to looks like? It needs to be .json file? Whatw the syntax/template?

Help would be appreciated!

I'm using the version 18.23.35 on Android 13 (One UI 5.1) on Samsung Galaxy A53.

After I patched the APK downloaded from APK Pure, I installed this app and it worked fine for a few days. Then suddenly, it became annoying: when I want to run this app (cold start), it starts just for a tiny fraction of a second and it closes immediately. It finally runs properly only after the second try. This happens every single time after that bug was activated.

Any idea what could cause this issue? This is the third time I reinstalled the app with the same results.

Man, i cant imagine how thankful i am for this pach and especially for the devs of it, i am sure that the amount of time and nerves saved from watching youtube ads would have prolonged my life expectancy, i will definitely support and donate for this project, keep at it developers! Also the amount of fake and fraudulent websites claiming they are the legit patch is kinda beneficial since there is a lower chance google will pin down the correct one XDD.
