I’ve been trying to do a generations gameplay and I’ve tried over 10 times but get stuck when my original sims have more than 1 child, I can never pick which one to live out life with. How do you do it? Do you control both sims when you feel like it? Or just pick one? I like to micromanage so I can’t imagine leaving one family to do whatever they want while I play the other. Any tips welcome! I’ve tried sticking to having only one child but then the family drama isn’t complex enough for me. Any tips or your own generations stories welcome!

Hey all! I'm building Hyrule Sims in Cottage Living. The plan is to build a neighborhood of botw/totk characters including my own and a friend who loves Zelda. Any thoughts or ideas on things (gallery, mods, household objects, packs (I have most of them)) you think I could use to build that Hyrule experience? This is primarily for my friend who's been a bit down lately so it's a labor of love this time, I'd like to make it as immersive and accurate as possible. Thanks!

I get sick of baking birthday cakes to age up sims so for my legacy challenge I've basically been reusing the same one by keeping it in the household inventory where it can't spoil. I miss the sims 3 where you could just buy birthday cakes. This is my workaround to get that same effect.

I commented this under a post here I noticed a lot of people didn't know they could do this so I'm hoping it reaches anyone who needs to know this.

Feel free to comment any of your useful tips of course.

family: Justina (Adult) Amaya (young adult) Ash Harjo (partner of amaya) Bryce (child) Dylan (toddler)

So I started the game with Justina being a single mom of Amaya and Bryce, and now Amaya aged to young adult and got married. She had a son with Ash, Dylan, and now on the sim relationships and CAS it says Bryce is Ash and Amayas son.

What happened? Amaya is Bryces sister... In the gallery from the start it says she's his sister 😭 WHY is Justina now his grandma

I started to build a shack on the end of the lot, like 64x64 or 50x50 and put one of my werewolves living in there on the side house(?) Who is normally my main sim who i play more, so like he has a shack that is kinda luxurious for himself and possible mates, while the rest of the sims live on the main house, that is helpful for me when i let them go on a rampage and i don't have to lock them on a single room

Hi everyone,

I have a legacy house that I am playing and the only saved sim in my Library is my founder. Is there a way to save the sims that are in the family now? These aren’t sims I created in CAS, they are descendants of my founder. Please help, thanks in advance!!

I cannot figure out add a roof to the outdoor stalls I’m building. I want them to look like Canter Cottage. How do I add a roof over a fence. Do I need to make it a room? I don’t have a floor on there.
