Looks like it’s been shut down. You can see an X painted onto it. Probably don’t wanna land there unless you hate having your license

Although, it the airport itself is still open, it would be just the plot of land MrExploitation would buy considering airport-adjacent property is much cheaper and he can send the poors to breathe in all the cancerous exhaust there

Did mr-beast buy up some land at an abandoned airport, loaded with toxins from jet fuel, and wants his playthings to roam around there, then? you-are-a-serf

Looks like a general aviation airport, in which case most planes would be burning 100LL gasoline (the LL stands for “low lead” - so called not because it has low lead content (it’s very high) but because it’s a bit lower than its predecessor).

I used to work as a flight instructor so I was around the stuff all the time. It’s, uh, not good for you.

What I mean to say is everyone living there is gonna get lead poisoned

Edit: This is it

So uhh, living there is gonna take a couple decades off your life expectancy

Is it as horrible as motorboat fuel? That stuff is nightmarish.

I’ve never dealt with motorboat fuel so I can’t really compare, but I can say that it’s not “horrible” in a certain sense - the stuff isn’t sticky and evaporates pretty quickly, it’s easy to wash off, it’s not sticky like jet fuel (it’s almost water-like), it doesn’t smell bad and it’s not as combustible as jet fuel.

In the health sense - well, have you ever bought canned 1970s LA air and breathed it in all day long? That’s what you’re doing to your lungs. And if you handle it up close, most folks don’t wear gloves and it readily absorbs into the skin. It’s basically what happened to the boomers in the 60s but today.

Fuck. And no meaningful regulations, let alone laws, seem to be able to touch a sufficiently rich asshole that wants playthings at his cult compound.

doomer

Well, one can only hope that the man hires an illegal charter company to fly him around and ends up augering it into a mountain. Happens not too infrequently to rich folk!

Happens not too infrequently

Still too infrequent. sicko-wistful
