In this context they are responding specifically to a hit piece IGN produced. They mis-translated a bunch of their quotes, then tried to go to the game developer to get them to deny the translations and make a hole controversy out of it. the game developer said we're only going to talk about the game.

This media note for free copies of the game, is simply saying they don't want to get involved in that IGN mistranslation controversy. Of course it's poorly translated, and cultural shifting, but I don't think there is any ill will here.

Plus, any reporter who wanted to, could just buy the game at retail price and not have this media guidance applied to their free copy
