Love this movie. It’s a bit slow for people addicted to action flicks but I love how the whole plot is slowly unveiled until it erupts at the end. Psychological horror with a bit of supernatural because you can never really tell if whets happening is just him going insane or if he was influenced by other forces. The use of the recordings to slowly ramp up the tension was great.
I tend to prefer slow paced films more. I prefer atmosphere over action.

I definitely think Gordon was possessed by Simon to carry out the murder. He was in a vulnerable state of mind and easy to control. Simon was more that just another one of Mary's personalities. The implications are deeply disturbing.Fully agree with the spoiler. That’s the part that pushes it up a few notches
I didn't want to spoil the film for anyone who comes across this thread. I had never used the spoiler tag before. Glad I could figure out how to use it. lol
