Great film, really nails the characters and atmosphere. Probably one of the saddest endings I've seen in a film in a while. I'm curious what others thought of the film.

Oh wow, I haven’t heard that name in ages! I definitely enjoyed that film from what I can recall! The realization that this is filmed in an actual asylum really struck me & definitely added to the tension of the situation.

Gonna queue this up for tonight 🤘🏼

The setting is creepy as hell, I read that they could only use a small part of the place to film because the rest of it was structurally unsafe. The place has since been demolished. Enjoy the film!

Love this movie. It’s a bit slow for people addicted to action flicks but I love how the whole plot is slowly unveiled until it erupts at the end. Psychological horror with a bit of supernatural because you can never really tell if whets happening is just him going insane or if he was influenced by other forces. The use of the recordings to slowly ramp up the tension was great.

I tend to prefer slow paced films more. I prefer atmosphere over action.

Tap for spoilerI definitely think Gordon was possessed by Simon to carry out the murder. He was in a vulnerable state of mind and easy to control. Simon was more that just another one of Mary's personalities. The implications are deeply disturbing.

Fully agree with the spoiler. That’s the part that pushes it up a few notches

I didn't want to spoil the film for anyone who comes across this thread. I had never used the spoiler tag before. Glad I could figure out how to use it. lol
