Before we dive deeper, it's essential to understand what personal character means.

I mean, the rabid Trump supporters are working from such a different starting point and set of assumptions. It makes perfect sense to go right back to basics: definitions of "lying" and "personal character".

The problem is not that they don't know what lying is. The problem is that they don't care.
