i don't think a lot of people are driving a tesla because they ant to give money to the musk. i also don't think that guy had a lot to do with

  • the software
  • the build quality
  • the design of the car

other than 'i want that' or 'looks good to me'

People don't have to interact with Elon when buying a Tesla. They do have to interact with dealers when buying another car. It's not surprising so many people chose Tesla.

Reminds me of the bill Desantis signed in Florida a few months back making it so gas powered vehicles HAVE to be purchased from a dealer and cannot be purchased directly from the manufacturer. Telsa doesn't get hit by that bill, surely has nothing to do with Desantis owning a Tesla.
