Python allows non-programmers program, hence its popularity. I personally don't like Python, but I can tolerate it, and I even sometimes use it when I need a very quick solution (automation, quick data analysis, etc.). I once had to maintain a large and complex backend written in (untyped) Python, and it was a nightmare. Deno surely solves those problems. To each their own. We can't expect everyone to be competent, can we? π€·ββοΈ
Oof yeah I have at least been allowed to use static type hints in the Python at my current job. They still don't get it, but at least it's not like my previous job where they literally banned them. π€¦π»ββοΈ
That company did not survive.
