Well, Netflix is saying they don't want 'em right there!
Steady decrease of 19% year after year.
We know those who are not online are exceptions but that isn't a viable market to sustain sales.
General sales are down but boutique labels are flourishing. Physical media isnβt dying anytime soon, especially when streaming still canβt reach the quality of physical media and people who have solid home theater systems want to push their setups.
Not only that but I live in Portland and we actually have several stores that you can rent VHS tapes from still.
Then there's me buying that 19% gap when things get below $6-8
Try selling your old DVDs and see what you can get for them. Even Blu-rays have lost most of their value as well
Yeah, your theatrical edition blockbuster isnβt gonna have any value but your limited run boutique remaster or out of print cult classic will sell for an arm and a leg.
I noticed some DVDs are going up in price again because people are reverting back to them.
