They can spend millions on contractors to create surveillance software but its Communism if you build affordable/free housing and give people free healthcare. Utterly bizarre SV government logic. Don't worry bro, tech will fix it.
I think a lot of liberals are so utterly domesticated by capitalism that they instinctually see any suggestion to improve society somewhat as dangerous.
