Be sure to read the rule before you leave

Fiction is like any media/communication tool. It can absolutely drive a legitimate point home. It's a powerful rhetorical tool that can get people to think about subjects more deeply.

But a proper discussion that allows complexity, nuance and is based in reality obviously can't just rely on fiction by itself. Unfortunately so many liberals do though which is maddening as hell.
