Michael Andretti and F1 had never particularly seen eye-to-eye on matters, but it was his decision to move away from day-to-day involvement in the squad that set in motion the chain of events that has led to today.

So what did Andretti do to piss everyone off so much?

Exist.

FOM wanted manufacture teams, not a customer deal with a factory deal.

Much more importantly: Why does it matter? I don't like Toto Wolff but that's no argument on why I'd accept Mercedes.
