Is there any way to auto-hide/control which communities are served when browsing based on the language of the community? For example, if I don't speak French, I won't realistically want to see content that is solely in French that I can't understand.

If you want to hide the posts that is not in your language, try to change the language setting in settings -> languages.

Edit: the setting is called "Languages" not "Language settings", and it is only available in lemmy-ui, the website version you using
