why help catch him?
I'm not trying to catch him, I think he outsmarted them.
they'll catch him if he made enough mistakes and this is definitely a big one; some asshat can see this comment and try to help get him arrested.
New York police department has a lot more resources than a random Lemmy poster. I assure you they are aware of this without someone needing to bring their attention to it.
every little bit helps and there's no reason to aid them in this case; he did the right thing given our circumstances.
That dude is in another country by now. He seemed to be very thorough.
