When discussing the plural name for the group of beings with different faces that are The Doctor, is it proper to say "The Doctors", "Doctors Who" or...? (startrek.website)

Do you mean the actors? Then just say doctor who actors.

Because in canon, it's one being. And his name is The Doctor. Not doctor who.

Of course, the name "Doctor Who" has been used in canon (if there is such a thing) on multiple occasions.

Exactly my conundrum! In canon the Doctor changes faces and personalities (and Tardises) periodically. What is (or what should be) the collective term for these manifestations?

Just like child you and adult you are both you. They're just different phases of the same person's life.
