I have one because I was tired of always looking to one side or the other with a dual monitor setup. When I need two windows, I can put them next to each other at almost 16:9 each, with no bar in the middle. When I'm only working on one thing, I can put it in the middle of the screen and keep my neck straight. I haven't played a game yet that doesn't support my monitor aspect ratio. My next goal is to get a 32:9 monitor, for true 16:9 side-by-side comparison. I tried going back to a regular monitor a couple weeks ago and didn't even last a week. Ultra wide is the only path forward for me.
