It says a lot that most Dem voters hate Dem presidential candidates...
And a significant amount of Republicans can't stand trump...
The most rightwing factions of both parties love it and want to talk shit and make up memes, but why the absolute fuck are we letting the furtherest right minorities from both parties run everything?
fascists know how to use the levers of power. they worship power. the rest of us hate and avoid power. and thus the only people who want power are people who shouldn't have it
President by lottery of someone without disqualifying factors? Serve or go to jail like jury duty?

More than it was 3 elections ago...
But he was "the lesser evil" to Hillary and then Biden.
I remember a poll from before the election showed like 70% of voters were going to be displeased with either result.
That's a huge number, and comes from just ~20% of voters from each side not liking the person they voted for. And it seems like it was a lot more than 20%...
But I just live in a red state, where my family all votes trump and so do most everyone else. The hometown I grew up in has went over 90% trump in the last three elections....
So maybe you do interact with Republicans more than I do and you understand them more, but unless you live in MarLago I doubt you have to deal with them more than I do.

Hopefully that changes with the DNC chair election...
I never agreed with the accelerationists, but if Kamala had won she'd have named the chair and nothing would have changed.
Because Trump won the DNC has a chance to improve drastically, and even if OMalley gets it, that's still a big improvement. But I'm hoping it's one of the others with zero connections to the neoliberal old guard
It's a two party system. You wouldn't want to throw your vote away!
