yup, I have my lemmy set to blur nsfw posts and sort by "new". It solved most of the problem.

It doesn't help much when you have a boyfriend who keeps sending nsfw images all the time tho :v

I found something today that should be able to fix the rest of the issue: https://www.maverish.com/what-is-privacy-screen-protector/

I saw it on the smartphone of the person next to me on the train, and even though they were right next to me I could not make out what was on their screen until they turned it to demonstrate the screen protector.
