I'm asking this genuinely, how did the salute Elon gave differ from what you think a nazi salute is?
Okay, I reviewed what the actual Nazi salute looks like. Having done this, I actually do think this strongly resembles a Nazi salute. I think p>80% this was intentional.

I still think it's possible this was unintentional, and even more likely that it was intended to toe the line of plausible deniability. When I show this to people in real life, they are unsure, so I don't think it's as clean-cut and undeniable as people on social media are saying it is.
I definitely think he was trying to be ambiguous, he just... failed to do so lol
