The point is not the food, but that our country needs to start relearning to accept immigrants as people. When my ancestors entered the US they did it 100% legally because there were no immigration restrictions; they walked off the boat and got started with their new lives. The bar has been raised dramatically, and I can't say that has been good for much other than fueling xenophobia.
