I've been using Fitgirl for ages and had no issue. Do you mean during the actual expansion and installation, or grabbing the microsoft libraries?

During the actual installation, not doing direct x and the redistibutables. It was like she has her own version of steam going on.

I'd trust fitgirl completely anyway and the biggest defence against anything dodgy on this laptop is it's running linux which is defacto antivirus in itself
