So my husband and I are avid viewers of all the English language versions of the Drag Race franchise. We started watching the series with the premiere of the very first episode of the very first American season. But we often have very different feelings about the contestants.
I was kind of rooting for Hormona Lisa from the beginning of season 17 just because all the other queens seemed to hate her, so my instinct to cheer for the underdog came out. I did initially find her a bit annoying but now I find her endearing. However, she gets on my husband's nerves. So we had mixed reactions to her elimination. Thoughts?
I have a soft spot for Hormona, but she (and some others) are being extremely one dimensional. Like... have y'all watched the show? It's just weird to me after 17 seasons that queens keep auditioning and don't understand that they need to 1. Have a personality 2. Know how to sew 3. Be versatile 4. Know how to make Ru laugh. This is not the first seasons!
