Been a while since I've heard Jean. Really good stuff. Hugely impacted EDM.
On oxygene just two of the synths he used today (not his actual ones they'd be worth a fortune) is close $100k which is nuts.

These days you can emulate it on the 'puter for $20 (and get close to the sound 'but never quite there').
electronic music was different then, seemed simpler
But I'm very far from knowing anything, it's just how I experience it as a listener
