State when was the last time you tried couz. Mf be saying "last time I tried x" and it turns out it was 5 years ago. FOSS development and new technologies are at its all time high and it won't stop increasing

I hear you, I see that happen all the time with peoples outdated opinions on Linux. I tried 6 months ago, I was already using Davinci Resolve then tried the FOSS options, then tried Lightworks and decided to pay for Lightworks.
