I own two pairs. If you care for them a bit they are quite sturdy and there are lots of models that can be sent in to be repaired.

You can normally have a cobbler replace the soles of shoes.

Better to do this before the rubber soles are worn completly through, easier work to replace the soles for the cobbler equals less cost for you

You absolutely can, you can also send them back to the factory for an overhaul
