The people selling, manufacturing, and designing these vehicles will take their skills and labor elsewhere. The owners, who have no transferable skills, are stuck holding the empty bag.

Plenty of skilled people work on flops because the fool at the top of the pyramid demanded they make something fundamentally flawed.

It's like being paid to learn.
