Something that I realized about the fediverse is that you seem to be able to criticize the USA as a whole, but if you criticize the Democrats you get downvoted. Democrats suck they are not sacred cows (lemmy.ml)

You can't "push for more progressive options" when you've already ceded all power.

Democrats would not be expanding the concentration camps like the Republicans are.

History suggests otherwise.

How far back? I'm pissed Obama and Biden didn't close Gitmo, but they didn't expand it either.
