How come tankies are so influential on the internet and so irrelevant outside of it? lol
Same essential reason as flat earthers and religious evangelists of minor cults. It's extremely appealing to some people to think they've discovered some 'hidden' knowledge or way that they can Enlighten The Masses(tm) with. The internet just disproportionately weights the contributions of the repetitive, dedicated, and aggressively conformist.
Perhaps bevause the proletariat are more free to speak on the internet than in capitalist media and workplaces
