one of my artworks that i posted on reddit and here and on furaffinity too were posted on the e6 site (you know which one..), is that legal?? can they do that??? why is my art there if i don't even like the 18+ stuff nor draw it or have an account there... so it was posted without my permission, which, it's ok but that site is umm.. extreme

i know there's a takedown form but i want to know why, i'm curious

thank youu.

i understand, i do know about creative common licenses, hmm, i should license my art, i have to choose a license tho, but anyway!! i like browsing e926, the safe one

Not sure, but I believe all the art on 926 is also available on 621, since it's just a portal with art not tagged 18+?

Pretty much! They both use the same database, but e926 automatically applies a safe filter on the search results.

It's exactly the same as browsing e621 with "rating:safe" in the search prompt.

You know you think you would hear about the safe one before you hear about the not safe one. I guess I missed that train 15 years ago.

But to your main problem technically no it's not legal. However, it is not the responsibility of the image board to know whether or not somebody is posting your content. If you petition them to remove it and they do not, you do have grounds to put in a dmca claim. I do not expect that they will fight to keep it up if you do not want it up.

Most hosting companies or websites do not investigate claims. They just remove content if it's claimed
