Musk is stupid as fuck and has failed upwards his whole life due to being born rich. He's basically a sentient bank account. If you had any professional experience in the areas Musk talks about you would see how fucking dumb he is.
Your assessment doesn't really work if you look at his success compared to just about anyone. That includes much much richer fucks. I understand he has advantages but objectively he performs far better than his peers. He's also accumulated quite a bit of policy power, again more than his peers.
Your assumptions are backwards. Its all probability and he is the luckiest of the rich dipshits. Its why he is so insecure, he hasn't achieved much through merit. A smart person in his position would've fucked off already.
