Not yet. Housing supply is rising but prices haven't started to drop. We may be about to repeat 2008 for housing. Especially in the south.

A part of Florida I know of is slapping together "luxury" apartments as fast as can be, but as far as I know none of the ones finished in the past ~decade are at full capacity because no one, not even the students they're assumingly targeting, can afford the rents.
