I didn't think your system worked like that.

In the UK parliament (well her own party really) were about to oust the Liz Truss in less time than it takes a lettuce to go rotten.

Which really does seem to be the big advantage of a parliamentary system over yours.

The point is that the presidency is more independent.

The actual issue is that there is a presidency. And a two party system.
