Laws and norms cannot be depended upon. This is unlikely to be solved by a clever argument before a judge.
I don't want to discourage action but be realistic about it's impacts.
Soap Box, Ballot Box, Jury Box, Cartridge Box.
I believe this will be resolved by "clever argument before a judge". If it is not, the Constitution provides for no further remedy.
If it is not resolved by a judge, the Declaration of Independence becomes legal precedent.
