Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Under previous policy, we had advised that someone with a Gender Recognition Certificate (GRC) may be searched in accordance with their acquired sex, however as an interim position while we digest yesterday’s judgement, we have advised our officers that any same sex searches in custody are to be undertaken in accordance with the biological birth sex of the detainee.

“We are in the process of reviewing the implications of the ruling and will consider any necessary updates to our policies and practices in line with the law and national guidance.”

What are you talking about?

Children need to learn about stuff that matters, not gender politics or ideology.

If "gender politics or ideology" don't matter then why are the Republicans making such a huge stink about them? Is this an admission that your version of gender politics and ideology are, in fact, nothing more than politics and ideology?

These people need mental help, not physical mutilation.

We agree, then. Do me a favor and look up what the American Pediatric Association says we should do to provide that mental help.

Their arguments remain entirely valid no matter the country. Just maybe bail from the argument in which you have zero standing.

You clearly aren't understanding at all.

Some Native American and Indian cultures have three genders.

Orthodox Jews recognize seven in the Talmud.

If those cultures can recognize the complexity and ambiguity of gender centuries before the scientific method was developed, then obviously we can trust science when it says that gender isn't a simple either-or proposition.

Did you get around to looking up the APA recommendations for mental issues related to gender yet? Tell me what the pediatricians say we should do.
