Very much no. At least, well... Interpretation.

Do read the Bible. If you're here and haven't, you should.

At least the pentateuch and gospels. The gospels aren't even that (that) ridiculous.

Once you do that, there's more books that you could read, but that would be the ones you're interested in.

I do want to further qualify my "that"s.

The biblical story of the nativity is so unbelievable and counterfactual that legitimate biblical scholars cite it as evidence that Jesus of Nazareth was a real person because "why would you make up such a ridiculous story to get someone born in the city of David if they weren't a real person that just did not completely fulfilling the prophecy. A made up person would just be born there."
