Alvarez just shared the news they've wrapped filming. Time for a celebratory cigar

We'll still have to wait a "little" while longer. Alien: Romulus (codename) will release August 16, 2024.

This one will reportedly be a more traditional horror slasher flick which makes Alvarez a pretty good choice considering he previously directed the 2013 Evil Dead and the first Don't Breathe (2016), both which were pretty good.

Looking forward to it but I also quite liked Scott's flawed but none the less very interesting and entertaining off-beat alien flicks; Prometheus & Covenant. I hope one day we get to see > David <😍 again.

So is this a sequel or a continuation of the main story line? Aliens is one of my favorite horror series of all time. Didn’t even know they were making another one after Prometheus and covenant did “okay”

It's billed as a stand-alone horror story so likely no connections with Prometheus and Covenant.
