I started this project thinking "this will be a fun little HG build, nice and simple", but between the multiple layers of paint and amount of masking, it took me around the same amount of time as a larger kit. I'm very happy with how it turned out and it was well worth the extra time.

Did you mix this light met. blue or is it an off the shelf color?

I used GN Prism Pastel Mint Green Blue paint sprayed over a custom-mixed green base coat. It changes between green and blue depending on the viewing angle.

So it’s a candy. That explains the difference in shade with camera angle.

The difference in shade is from the paint itself. A candy would be a colored clear coat over chrome.
