Feels like there's already a quite large offering
Albeit nothing local to offer. The ones you've mentioned have their own pros and cons too. The one you're associated with didn't see action for a week or so after it was started up, before the poor guy who broke the silence got banned.
Not sure what you mean with 'local', as those are general ask communities. !askuk@feddit.uk is an example of local community, but that's something else.
I started posting on the community on the 12th of March with a few posts, then indeed someone showed up and posted a question called "Is vegan diet impairing mental abilities?"
