I haven't checked the source so I have no idea if those numbers are realistic, but if so, there's a wild variation I did not expect between some of those!
I heard some parts cost $1000 /hr, somewhere outside Clark County, NV. Some place called the bunny ranch.

Possibly. It's a storyline trope from lots of things; the 1960's-70's seedy mobster Vegas era. The place was legend.
Not sure I trust the image. My hearth is not worth that much.
