Liberal gun owner that owns an AR15. Any other administration I'd be for a ban. Of all the different guns I own my AR is stupid accurate and chucks a ton of lead wherever I want. Its really only for soft targets and lots of them.

Nah, you can hunt with an AR. There are a few different rounds that were designed for it for hunting. I'm planning to build a 6.5 Grendel for whitetail hunting, but there is also .350 Legend, .360 Buckhammer, .400 Legend, and .450 Bushmaster that were all specifically designed for hunting with an AR15. If you want even bigger game like an Elk you can step up to a AR10 and use the trusty .308 Winchester and a plethora of others. An AR is just a nice, light recoil, semi automatic firearm.

Grendel is nice. Sure goes where you point it with a sense of urgency. Will put a hole in something. Loud AF, though. I've not experienced any of the others you've mentioned.

Loud AF, though.

That 6.5 G can't be so bad out of a 20" barrel. My current upper is a .300 BLK at only 10.5". With the removal of the suppressor tax stamp, I might buy a suppressor for it next year. It would go from my loudest to my quietest real fast, lol.

I've not experienced any of the others you've mentioned.

All the others are straight wall cartridges made for hunting specifically. With them being straight wall they're legal in those restrictive states that require that sort of thing.
