I dunno where you're from but as a Canadian I'm dismayed when Canadians say they don't care about u.s politics. Considering u.s politics influence our every day life just as much as the politics of our own Parliament. Anyone who has been to a major Canadian city and has seen Canadian idiots with the same Maga mentality, will tell you that u.s politics is a huge part of our life

We have our own issues to solve first and foremost . I live in a major Canadian city and I've never seen maga people, I honestly blame those people watching too much American politics in the first place.

I somewhat agree, but for my own mental health I’ve had to try and avoid it if I can. I still stay informed, I just don’t want US politics in every area of my life. I probably agree with most people on this site politically, I just don’t want to be so involved in that mind space all the time.

It also feels very US-defaultism to put US memes here all the time. Sure, most people here are probably American, but not everyone is.
