Nah it was actually a massive success as long as you don't believe Bush's lies about the reason for the invasion. The US military-industrial complex made a ton of money, the whole region was destabilised for decades, the US gained control over Iraqi oil, and it helped preserve the USD as the global currency for a bit longer.
...you mean it was a massive success IF you believed Bush's lies, and I think he believed it himself. Probably deluded himself into believing it so that he could finish what daddy-dearest had started...
...I wonder what the qualify of life and living conditions are for Iraqis today...
